You can use a quote as an offer, i.e., send it to your customer directly from the software. You can also add a proposal i.e., cover letter or additional pages such as images or contract terms, to the offer. The customer receives the offer by email, where they can approve or decline it. You will receive a notification of the recipient's action to your own email, and at the same time the quote status changes to approved/declined.

Sending a quote as an offer
- In the quote, go to Options > Send.
- The page opens in preview. If necessary, change the print language or time format, and click Next.
-If you had added a proposal to the quote, enable Include proposal.
- Enter the recipient’s email address and write the message that will be visible to the recipient in the email.
- Click Send in the upper right and then Done.
The quote status changes to sent. The customer receives an email message and a link from the software, through which they can view the offer. When the recipient approves or declines the offer you sent, you will receive an email about it and the quote status changes to approved or declined.
Statuses of a sent quote and editing
The quote status changes automatically during the process (it can also be changed manually):
- The quote is sent to the recipient: Sent
- The recipient approves the quote: Approved
- The recipient rejects the quote: Declined
- A sent quote is edited in the software: Draft
- An approved or declined quote is edited in the software: Review
If you edit a quote that has already been sent or approved, the software will ask you to confirm the editing. If you continue editing, the previously sent quote will no longer be available to the customer and the quote status will change to draft or review. After editing, you can send the quote again.
Recipient actions
- The recipient receives an email from a Heeros/Finago address showing the message added by the sender, the sender’s name, the offer value, and possible due date.
- By clicking View sales quote, the recipient can view the offer in a new browser window, download it to their computer, and approve or decline it.
