Description
Using employment templates gives you quick way to handle users' work hour definitions on the user card. You can define own template for normal work hours and part-time work and also define if hour balance is calculated, in case hour balance feature is in use. Using employment templates is not mandatory but if you need to modify users' work time often or you have multiple users in Heeros PSA, templates gives you quicker way to handle work time. If you have defined work time based on templates, you can filter users on the user list based on work types.

Defining work time templates
Settings > Feature settings > Time management > Time tracker - Employment templates
- Click Add an employment template.
- Give a template name.
- Define daily work time for needed days.
- Define if hour balance is accumulated.
- Define if added template is used as a default template when new users are added.
- Save by clicking on green save button in the beginning of the row.
Template is available for selection on the user card.
Editing and archiving templates
You can edit templates when needed or archive unused templates.
Edit
- Select Edit from the three point menu in the beginning of the row.
- Edit template as needed.
- Save by clicking on green save button in the beginning of the row.
Archive
- Select Archive from the three point menu in the beginning of the row.
- Confirm archiving by clicking Archive.
Reactivate archived templates
You can reactivate archived templates when needed. If you modify archived template after activation, changes will effect to hour balance for those users where template has been previously used.
- Select Reactivate from the three point menu in the beginning of the row.
Viewing employment templates
Filtering templates
You can filter templates based on activity from filter menu.
- Select filter all, active or archived from filter menu.
Selecting weekdays
You can select visible week days from eye menu if you do not need to see e.g. weekend days in the list.
- Select desired week days from eye menu.
