If the pricing of work hours varies between customers and projects, recording contract prices in the customer or project account hourly rates facilitates the creation of project invoices with the correct hourly charges. The project price list price overrides the customer price list price, which in turn overrides the hourly rate defined in the general settings. The hourly pricing utilizes the program's job types, professional titles, or user-specific pricing. If a user has been assigned a specific hourly rate, it overrides any professional title rate, which in turn overrides the jobtype rate. More information about the pricing logic can be found here.
Processing of hourly rate lists is generally similar for both account and project cards. The difference is that more than one hourly rate list can be created for an account card, with one being active and that can be retrieved for use on the project card. On the project card, in turn, a different job title can be added for the user for that particular project.
