The event log is a view for main users that shows a list of all events that have occurred in the application.

Description
The purpose of the event log is to gather information about all the events that happened in the application in one place, so that the admin users can easily see what actions the users have taken. It helps to find out the time and author of various changes, which makes the work of solving and clarifying possible ambiguities much easier.
Versions: Free, Growth, Business, Enterprise, Enterprise+
User rights: Admin user ( all companies)
View the event log
The event log is a section in the application settings.
- Go to Settings > Log
The event log opens on top of the settings view, giving you as much space as possible to view it. By default, all logged events are searched for in the view, but the content can also be limited by search criteria.
The first column of the event log list shows if the row change affects more than one value. By clicking on the icon, you can view all changed values.
In addition to this, the event log displays the following columns:
- Module
- The module of the program to which the event in question applies (e.g. cost calculation or user)
- Entity
- Object of the event (e.g. name of individual cost calculation or program user)
- A clickable link from which you can view the item
- Event
- Name describing the event (e.g. created, edited or deleted)
- From
- Pre-event value
- If the change involves several values, clicking on the text allows you to view all changed values
- To
- Post-event value
- If the change involves several values, clicking on the text allows you to view all changed values
- User
- The user who completed the event
- Date and time
- Time of the event
- Account
- Account or accounts affected by the event
- Project
- Project or projects affected by the event
- Clickable link to view the project
Search for events in the event log
You can limit the content of the event log with the search criteria displayed at the top.
Available terms are:
- Date range
- Limit the rows within the selected time range
- Module
- Limit rows to those whose module is one of the selected ones
- Field
- Limit the rows to those whose field is one of the selected ones
- Event
- Limit rows to those whose event is one of the selected ones
- User
- Limit the rows to those whose user who performed the event is one of the selected ones
- Open search
- Limit the rows to those whose information matches the content of the text search
By changing these conditions, the content of the event log is automatically limited to match the selections.
