You can archive or delete an account if needed.
When an account is archived, it will no longer appear in the active accounts list in different sections of the program.
Deletion is not possible if the account has associated projects, invoices, or other data. You can check the factors preventing deletion by hovering over the Delete text in the menu.

Archiving an Account
Archiving can be done from the account list as described below or from the account card under Actions.
- Go to Contacts > Accounts.
- Select Archive from the three-dot menu on the account row.
- The program will ask for confirmation and possibly additional options. Confirm by clicking Archive.
Deleting an Account
Deletion can be done from the account list if necessary, as described below. Note! Deleting an account is rarely necessary as you can always archive it, which retains the data within the program.
- Go to Contacts > Accounts.
- Select Delete from the three-dot menu on the account row.
- The program will ask for confirmation. Confirm deletion by clicking Delete.
The account is permanently deleted and will no longer appear in any account listing.
Example: Account Cannot Be Deleted
An account cannot be deleted if it has for example associated projects, activities, hourly price lists, or if it is part of reporting groups. You can check the factors preventing deletion by hovering over the Delete text in the menu.
If you still wish to delete the account completely:
- Remove the associations from all sections or the relevant data from the account card.
- Return to the list view and delete the account.
