The Reports module contains our so-called legacy reports. We recommend using the New reports module, where you can create new reports yourself and edit their structure.

Basic report functions
Filters
You can filter the report content by selecting filters from the drop-down menus or under the Add filter button. Remember to click Search so that the results are updated.
Save search
You can save the filters you have set for future use by clicking Save search. You can later return to your saved searches by selecting the saved search from the Saved searches menu.
Printing the report to PDF or Excel
You can print the report to a PDF file or to Excel using the icons shown below.
Additional options
From the eye icon you will find additional options related to displaying the report. The content varies depending on the report.
If you have the currency add-on in use, in some reports you can also select the currency.
Hours

Export hours
- creates an Excel file for exporting hours to another system. Visible if certain integrations are in use.
Invoicing

- the report does not take the Quote, Automatic invoicing, or Scheduled invoicing into account. Invoicing data comes from the Invoicing material, not from invoice rows.

Invoice degree per customer and Invoice degree per user
- includes only invoiced hours. Invoicing data comes from the Invoicing material, not from invoice rows.

- the column "Invoiced bills" also takes Travel expenses and Expenses into account.

Scheduled invoices by account and Scheduled invoices by project
- scheduled invoicing monthly for Scheduled invoicing and Automatic invoicing. From the drop-down menu you can choose to view Scheduled invoicing, Automatic invoicing, both, or projects without these. You can use the report for forecasting by showing the opportunities of Pipeline projects.

- Gross margin: from revenue (=sent sales invoices) the internal hourly cost of working hours and the total of bills, travel expenses, and expenses are deducted. Sales margin: from revenue the total of bills, travel expenses, and expenses is deducted, but not hours.
