In Enterprise plans, exceptions to permissions can be made on an account or project basis with special permissions. For example: in general permissions, everyone can see the hourly rates for projects, but with special permissions, access to the hourly rates can be restricted to only the project managers from the desired project card.
Permissions: Accounts > Special permissions / Projects > Special permissions
PSA plans: Enterprise, Enterprise+
- Click on the account or project card Actions > Edit special permissions.
- Select a feature whose special permissions you want to edit.
- Click Activate special permissions.
- In the Default permissions from settings section, you will see in blue the users/groups that currently have access to that feature. Click the person's/group's name to gray to remove their permissions.
- In the Add extra permissions section, you can add permission to a person/group that does not have access to the feature through general permissions.
Special permissions take effect immediately.
