Description
An expense is a payment that you have already made for a purchase or the costs incurred by a business in their effort to generate revenue.
Taimer offers two types of expense tracking

Expenses - This includes all costs and expenses other than travel costs

Travel expenses - Costs associated with traveling usually for the purpose of conducting business-related activities
Once these expenses are created, you can reimburse your staff directly or integrate with an accounting software for payments. You can even add an expense to a project to invoice it to your end customer.
Who can track and manage expenses using Taimer?
Whether you're a freelancer or a SME, Taimer offers expenses management for businesses of all sizes. Depending on the plan you've chosen, you can add and manage from two to unlimited expenses that can be purchased as add-ons for your existing plans.

How to create an expense
You can create an expenses in just a few clicks in Taimer. Simply take a picture of the receipt, upload it to the Expenses page, add expense details and send it for approval. Click here to learn more.
Expenses Settings
Remember to set up the right settings before you start creating an expense in Taimer. You can do the following in the Expenses Settings:

Add multiple payment options/types and even assign user specific payment options.

Segregate expenses using expense types to help you get insights on the company expenses.

Add currency exchange rates, mileage, per diem, and allowances.
