Invoicing addresses can be managed from both the account card and the project card. When creating an invoice, the invoicing address is primarily retrieved from the invoicing address of the project card. The project address, in turn, is retrieved from the account unless a separate address has been added for the project.
If necessary, you can also define a different account/address than the project client for invoicing the project, or split the project's invoicing in percentages to multiple accounts/addresses.

Account card invoicing addresses
The invoicing address of the account card is inherited by default to the customer's projects, but it is also possible to direct invoicing on the project card to another account.
Invoicing address fields:
- Account
- Business ID
- Address: Street address
- Postal code
- City
- Country: Country or country code e.g. FI (Note! Check the format required by your financial management interface)

Adding the account's invoicing address
You can add multiple invoicing addresses to the customer's information.
- Go to the section Contacts > Accounts > (Selected account) > Details > Overview - Addresses > Invoicing.
- Click Add.
- Specify the address details.
- Click Save.
Editing or removing the account's invoicing address
You can edit or remove invoicing addresses added for the account from the three-dot menu next to the address.
Note! After saving the invoice, any changes to the account's address will not be directly updated on the invoice. Instead, you must reselect the address information in the Invoice recipient section for the information to update on the invoice.
Invoicing addresses of the project card
The invoicing address for the project is retrieved by default from the project's account, but on the project card you also have the option to:
- define an invoicing account different from the orderer
- select the correct invoicing address from the account card
- determine a new invoicing address for the specific project
- split the project's invoicing as percentage shares among multiple different accounts/addresses.
Define billable account
On the project card, it is also possible to specify a recipient for the invoice that is different from the account defined for the project. Select the account from the dropdown for which the project's invoices are addressed.
Change the invoicing address for the project
If the account card has multiple invoicing addresses, the desired address can be selected on the project card.
- Click Change below the billing account.
- Select the correct address from the dropdown menu.
Add a new invoicing address for the project
On the project card, a project-specific invoicing address can be defined that is not found on the account card.
- Click on Add under the billing account.
- Specify the billing address details in the popup window.
- Click on Save.
Split the project's invoicing among multiple accounts
It is possible to split the project's invoicing as percentages among several different accounts or addresses on the project card. (Division in euro amounts is not currently possible.) The split function can also be used with mass invoicing and automatic invoicing.
Defining percentage allocation on the project card
- Click on Invoice multiple accounts after the name of the billing account on the project card.
- In the new pop-up window, click Add another account. (There can be multiple recipients. You can remove a recipient using the trash can icon.)
- Fill in the correct address details, invoicing percentage, and any references for all accounts to be invoiced.
- Click Save.
The split can later be canceled if necessary using the project address details button Invoice single account.
Adding the Project Invoice
When an invoice is added manually to the project, Customer fields display the percentage allocated to the recipient.
- The recipient's invoicing information (address, payment terms, language, and currency) cannot be edited when adding the invoice; instead, the information is retrieved from the account card.
- The program checks for any finance integration -specific additional requirements.
Saving the project invoice
Saving the project invoice creates separate invoices for all accounts specified for the split.
- The distribution percentage acts as a multiplier for the Quantity column of the rows (e.g. 100% = 1 and 50% = 0.5).
- Editing of invoice rows or invoicing material is disabled in split invoicing.
- Note! Deleting one invoice will remove all invoices belonging to the same split.
