The moment is here – Finago PSA's resourcing is being renewed! The update will be released on Wednesday evening, April 8th, and we are very excited about it. We believe this update will significantly improve the usability and efficiency of Finago PSA.
The renewal will divide resource management into two parts: task management and hour allocations. This change has been made to make work allocation easier when tasks are not required, while also introducing new possibilities and ease for managing tasks.
Task Management Updates
A new kanban view will be introduced for task management, making it easier to understand where tasks are. Companies will also be able to define their own task statuses going forward.
The task dialog will also be significantly improved:
- more space and a clearer layout
- more extensive descriptions
- checklists, attachments, and pricing information
- the ability to assign tasks to placeholder users
In addition, the visibility of own assignments has been improved. Employees will now see relevant tasks directly at the top of the My Day homepage as well as in the hour calendar, and can easily log hours for them.
New Allocations View
The new allocations view makes distributing work simpler, faster, and clearer than before.
In this view, you can:
- view employees whose allocations you have permission to access
- add work by project or task rows
- record allocations in total hours, per day, or relative to working time
The view also automatically calculates utilization and billing rates, supports sales pipeline stage probabilities in planning, and helps identify unfinished allocations.
Transition to the New Model
All current resourcing tasks will be automatically transferred to the new model. If you have any questions or special requirements related to the change, please feel free to contact our application support or your customer success manager.
