With the currency add-on, you can also create project quotes in other countries’ currencies, and thus record project sales correctly for international business as well. By enabling multi-currency support, you will get new currency-related fields/columns for the quote and list views, and you can view the project value in different currencies.
With the same add-on, you can also create invoices in different currencies.

- Enable the toggle Allow creating sales quotes in other currencies.
2. Setting exchange rates
- Go to Settings > Feature settings > Invoicing & bills > Currency settings.
- Define the currencies and rates that can be used on quotes (as well as on bills and sales invoices). More detailed instructions for managing exchange rates here.
Defining the quote currency
In the quote view
After enabling multi-currency support, you can set the correct currency in quote edit mode from the Currency drop-down at the top. After selecting and saving, the quote values are automatically converted to the correct currency. The final quote values are always also saved in the company’s base currency, so that sales can continue to be reviewed consistently across all projects.
When adding a project
A quote is added automatically when creating a project if a value is entered in the Deal value field. When multi-currency support for the quote is enabled, the project creation view also includes the fields Deal currency and Deal currency rate, which allow you to define the quote currency directly.
Viewing the project value in different currencies
When a quote has been created in a currency other than the company’s base currency, the project sales value can be viewed in both currencies on the project card and in the project list. Currency can also be used as a filter in the project list and in the New reports > Sales reports.
If a project has multiple quotes that use different currencies, the columns will show a combined value, e.g. "3 quotes". By hovering over the cell, you can see more detailed information about the currencies and rates used.
